Managing large content and user interaction on youtube is too difficult. Having long nearly 1 or 2 hour videos split into many peaces is painful for both me and my viewers, and answering questions in comments does not work at all so I moved everything to my blog. I am still using YouTube once in a while because it helps people to find me, thanks to google indexing.

I think , newbies need to come to your site to know and learn, how they can get help . May also need to refer to nabble the forum where many experts and learners are there .

Unfortunately, it is not Open Source, but we have created http://www.nacional.hr/ on a custom CMS built from the ground up on ZF.
